Fleming Stone Development, Inc., (FSD) is a premier development company in the Midwestern Illinois area specializing in residential real estate development and residential home construction. FSD is the owner and developer of one of the top subdivisions in Quincy, Wyndham Estates. Additionally, they are one of the few elite builders allowed to build in Wyndham Estates. This is a high-end 53 lot subdivision conveniently located on the Southeast side of Quincy. This subdivision was carved out of a heavily wooded piece of land and turned into a very mature looking, highly desirable location.
Fleming Stone Development, Inc., is also the owner, developer and sole builder in Meadow Creek. This moderately priced 68 lot subdivision is also located on the Southeast side of Quincy. This subdivision is modeled after the higher volume subdivisions of larger cities.
As owner and General Contractor, Fleming Stone Development, Inc., typically takes a project from the raw land state to a finished project (i.e., residential homes or residential multi-family living units).
In 1995, Eric Fleming started Eric J. Fleming Design and Construction. He operated as a sole proprietor until 2000. He built approximately one house a year as a sole proprietor. In 2000, Scott Stone joined Eric as a partner.
In 2002 Fleming Stone Development, Inc., (FSD) became an Illinois Corporation and opened Wyndham Estates, a subdivision for new homes. In 2004, FSD opened Wyndham Estates’ First Addition. In 2006, FSD opened Meadow Creek subdivision. Wyndham Estates is considered one of the premier high-end custom home subdivisions and Meadow Creek is one of the fastest growing subdivisions, with over half the homes already constructed, primarily for the first-time buyers or empty nesters.
